Certificate Enquiries

We provide short notice courses for organisations that need a quick delivery

For any enquiries from organisations who are not classified as a current Worksafe client the following terms and conditions will apply for training certification enquiries.

Certificate Authentication

Worksafe can confirm if a delegate has attended moving and handling training on a particular date and time. In order to do so we will need a copy of the certificate emailed to us at enquiries@work-safe.co.uk requesting certificate authentication. Worksafe will search our training records to identify the legitimacy of the certificate received.

As this takes time this will incur an administrative fee of £25 + Vat (£30). This fee is payable upfront prior to us checking our records. This can be paid by cheque made out to “Worksafe Training and Consultancy Ltd”. Alternatively please ask for specific BACS payment details. Once payment is received we will conduct the records check. A receipt will be sent on request. The payment must be made irrespective of the outcome i.e. the delegate did or did not attend training on that particular date.

Confirmation of Competence

All training delivered by Worksafe Training and Consultancy Ltd is on the request of our clients. As such training is conducted to take account of a delegates’ place of work i.e. workplace systems and procedures, equipment specific to the delegates workplace will be used in training, risk assessment will be trained as per the specific workplace requirement etc.

Worksafe Training and Consultancy Ltd cannot and will not confirm if a delegate is competent to perform moving and handling in a workplace other than where the training was initially conducted. We will not confirm the specific training content to any organisation other than our specific clients. We cannot issue records of training for specific training sessions that delegates have attended to organisations other than our current clients.

Ensuring competence is the responsibility of each employer. Worksafe Training and Consultancy Ltd cannot confirm a delegates’ competence in moving and handling at an organisation where we did not do the training.

Good practice is to perform moving and handling training that is job specific. This will ensure delegates understand the employers systems, procedures and control measures from specific employer risk assessments. This will also ensure delegates become acquainted with the specific moving and handling equipment available to them on an employers’ premises.

Don’t just take our word for it.
